I believe that all people have wisdom within. For almost 15 years, I worked as a labor doula supporting and guiding women through one of life's toughest challenges, childbirth. With 20 years of teaching yoga, I have helped others know that their strength lies within and it is accessible even during adversity. As a therapist, I believe it is vital to create safe human connections where we can truly be seen, understood, and cared for to access and remember who we really are. I work side-by-side with my clients providing a compassionate and curious space to heal whatever needs to be healed.
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked as a therapist since 2023 in a variety of settings including community mental health and small private practice. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Tulsa in Finance (1999). I began working as a doula in 2003 and attended births until 2018. I began teaching yoga in 2005 and estimate that I have taught almost 10,000 yoga classes since that time.
Whether it is individually, as a couple, or as a family, we can meet to discuss any challenges, difficulties, or struggles that are negatively impacting your quality of life. As a therapist, it is very important to me that each person feels seen and acknowledged throughout our time together. Additionally, I place a very high emphasis on personal safety and autonomy so that the experience is trauma-informed every step of the way. Our sessions can be scheduled at intervals that work with your schedule and provide the best outcome in your life. Whether it is once a week or once a month, we can create a rhythmic pattern that helps facilitate the changes you are looking for at the pace you would like to go. Our sessions are designed to not only create personal insight and awareness but develop a sense of empowerment that can translate into a healthier daily experience.
Individual psychotherapy session - $135
Couple/family psychotherapy session - $160
A sliding scale is available upon request.
I am currently able to accept BlueCross BlueShield and United Health Care / Optum.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
